When it comes to food assistance in Northeast Georgia, many think of traditional food pantries — most often connected to churches or larger food banks. And while these organizations are doing incredible work, there are still many families falling through the cracks.
That’s where we come in.
The Northeast Georgia Food Pantry is a mobile, pop-up pantry serving rural communities in and around Toccoa, Cornelia, Lavonia, Martin, Demorest, Mt. Airy, and other nearby areas. We’re not a church-based pantry, and we’re not connected to a single location — we’re independent, community-driven, and built to meet people where they are.
How We're Different
We’re proud to be an independent nonprofit food pantry, built around the belief that getting food shouldn’t require paperwork or proof of need.
At our pop-up pantry events:
There are no forms to fill out
Just a simple check-in when you arrive
It’s first-come, first-served until the food is gone
Our only goal: help as many families as possible
There are no requirements, no judgment — just kind hearts and support when you need it most.
Why a Mobile Pop-Up Pantry Matters in Rural Georgia
Transportation is one of the biggest barriers to food access in rural communities. Many families in Northeast Georgia simply can’t reach traditional food banks due to distance, limited hours, or lack of transportation.
That’s why we created the Northeast Georgia Food Pantry — a mobile food pantry that brings food directly to the people. We set up in accessible community spaces and distribute shelf-stable food boxes to anyone in need.
We’re here to fill the gap for those searching for:
Where to get free food in Northeast Georgia
How to support families in need in Northeast Georgia
Toccoa food pantry or Cornelia food pantry resources
Nonprofit food distribution that’s open to everyone
And as we grow, we’re working to partner with large food banks so we can provide even more food to more families, while keeping our dignity-first model intact.

Even before our official launch, we need your help to make this vision a reality. Here’s how to support our mission:
